Stage 2: Concept
A design concept must clearly resolve the requirements of the project in a way that disciplinary, personal, and poetic objectives are met and can be articulated with clarity and credibility. The concept underlies the remainder of the project. It is not a generative idea expected to evolve into something else, it is a commitmnent and however diagrammatic it needs to be thoroughly thought through and checked for feasibility at every foreseeable level.
