Still inspired by yesterday's perfect romantic home, I stumbled upon this elegant modern house located in West Vancouver, Canada's British Columbia. Burkehill Residence, as it's called, is designed by Craig Chevalier and Raven Inside Interior Design studio who designed those gorgeous contemporary interiors.
Before you enter, you will be welcomed by the tall glass wall with beautiful modern wooden entrance doors. And stone facade fits there perfectly. This house is good candidate for the next "Modern entrance design ideas" post. Upon entering into this architectural masterpiece, you will notice those beautiful wooden stairs with glass bender. Very modern and very elegant. And I specially liked those tiny little lights on the floor, lighting up the wall.
Next thing you will probably notice is wide open dining room with the bay view which is just another plus for modern home like this. Love the chairs. Kitchen offers dark contemporary furniture and lovely large kitchen island with minimalist bar chairs. A few green plants fit there perfectly. If you're still not satisfied with this house, check out the living room. Stone fireplace surrounded with glass walls and gorgeous bay views? Oh yes. Want more? Take a look at the home office. I noticed one thing there, very smart thing that I simply adore. Notice how easily you can work on office table and your computer? This solution is award winning!
Bedroom view offers bay as well, fulfilled with green trees spreading across the hills. And there's is of course modern terrace with outdoor fireplace and cliff-edge swimming pool. How much is this house worth? Let me help you a little bit, it is recently sold for $7.3 million. Worth the money? I say it is. What do you think?
